Handmade Swarovski crystal jewellery

Clair de Lune jewellery is handmade using quality components like Swarovski crystals, high grade semi-precious stones and genuine Murano glass beads with sterling silver or gold-filled* findings, clasps and ear-wires.

Wherever possible, only natural, untreated stones are used so you can appreciate the real colour. The only exception is when dyeing enhances particular features of the stone.

Necklaces

Mala beads
Mala beads are used in the Buddhist religion as a meditative tool to enhance ‘goodness’ and diminish ‘toxins’, driving away evil and filling the user and all beings with peace and bliss. There are 108 beads on each strand.

Cloisonné charm pendant with chain (large) ~ $15
Cloisonné jewellery and beads are made by outlining a design with very fine wire and firing different enamels (fine powdered glass) in the areas in between. This results in a glossy and richly coloured finish. Chain is made of 14 carat gold-filled. Pendants are available with a red, green, blue or black background.

Goldfilled

We prefer gold-filled for our chains and ear-wires because it is stronger than gold or silver plate and less likely to cause allergic reactions.

Gold-filled means a hard metal base - usually copper or bronze - soldered, brazed, welded with an outer layer of gold. The gold covering is much thicker than "gold-plated" being at least 1/20th or more of the overall weight of the item.
