Casual room bookings
You will be asked for credit card details beforehand for
casual stays. If you prefer not to use your credit card, we
also offer a direct
deposit facility. See below.
A non-refundable booking fee of $850 is required to secure the event date of your choice. Once we receive your deposit
and your signed agreement, we will confirm the date by email. (Click here for a copy of the agreement as
a PDF.)
We will then follow this up with a phone call to discuss any alterations or additions. We can also help you with contacts
for other services like florists, celebrants or photographers. Please be sure to tell us the best time to call and talk to
you.
At least 30 days prior to the event, we'll finalise your menu selections, confirm the number of guests, seating arrangements
and other details and send a signed copy of our agreement.

Making payments to Balmoral House
We accept payment by direct deposit, credit card or bank cheque. When making a direct deposit payment please
quote your last name as the payment reference.

We will also accept personal or business cheques and credit card payments for deposits, though not for the entire booking
value. Please make all cheques payable to Balmoral House and allow an additional 14 days for personal or business cheques
to clear.
Cancellations
You will be charged one night's rate for each room reserved for cancellations of casual
room bookings.
House rules
Non smoking environment:
We have a "no smoking" policy for the inside of the house. However, you may smoke cigarettes
where ashtrays are provided, outside in the courtyard or on the sun deck.
Pets:
Unfortunately, we cannot allow you to bring your pets to stay at Balmoral House.
