Spacious English-style gardens
Set in
more than an acre of English-style gardens - awash with colour most
of the year - Balmoral House offers privacy in delightful surroundings.
Depending on when you visit, you'll find rhododenrons, azaelas, cherry blossoms, French and English lavender.
There's
a huge range of bulbs - daffoldils, tulips, hyacinths, irises among others - hedges of box and photinea and dozens of well-established
trees.
Camelias, roses, fushias, pots of freesias and cyclamen.

A second terrace lies behind a hedge and here you can sit on the sun
deck and relax.

If you walk a little further, beyond the arbour, you'll reach a third terraced area with spectacular
views to the farthest edges of the Blue Mountains National Park.

Just beyond the edge of the property is the beginning of a large sacred Aboriginal site, the location of the
former Catalina Race Track, and the site of the once-proposed Katoomba Lake.
